Unfortunately, it has come to my attention that Google Friend Connect will no longer be available to non-blogger blogs as of March 1st 2012 (and will discontinue for Blogger shortly thereafter).
This means that if you follow using Google Friend Connect, you will not longer receive my posts as of that date.
Please pretty please do one (or more) of the following, if you haven’t already, in order to keep up-to-date:
- subscribe via email by entering your email address in the Feedburner box in the right sidebar —–>
- subscribe via RSS feed
- Subscribe via Google Reader **(my understanding is that if you already receive my posts in GR via “following” through Google Reader, you will need to re-subscribe separately)
- Like Mission to a(nother) Marathon on Facebook
- Follow me on Twitter
Let’s stay connected!
For the Google Reader link, it might be easier to use this URL: http://fusion.google.com/add?source=atgs&feedurl=http%3A//marleneontherun.com/feed/rss/ as it lets the user add your feed to Google Reader with one click.
Ahhh thank you!!!
Great to know!! Thanks for the heads up!!
Yay rss feed!!
I’m signed up!!
Lame! Why would they do that? *sniff* I already follow you on FB (that’s how I knew this post was here!) so no worries. I’ll still be reading about your adventures! 🙂
Thanks for the info! I don’t want to miss the blogs I read.
you’re behind the times. this is old news.
it’s lame though. i’m starting to not like the google empire.
I hadn’t heard this yet. Thanks for the heads up. I already follow you on FB, so I should be good.
See, this is one of the reasons why Blogger seems to be actively TRYING to make blogging harder. (Actually, they’re trying to force all bloggers to move to Google+, but I think they just want to make our lives mroe difficult.)
It’s so frustrating! &%^#* blogger/google!!!
What is this twitter and Facebook you’re talking about????
Done and done! Thanks for the heads up.
That is so annoying! I’m already following you in google reader, so at least I won’t lose your posts.
Oh no! I’m confused and worried! I guess I’ll have to look more into all this. Why do they make it so confusing!
Thank you so much for the GFC info! I had not heard about it until I read your blog. I will spread the word on my own blog as well.
Thanks for the details!
And yet another reason why WP just rocks.
