Boston+ Training – Week 9

Recovery week!

Monday – Usual evening swim session with the Selkies, 2300m in 1:00:00

Tuesday – One-hour bike trainer session in the morning followed by a 6K brick run outside, and another 5ish K run with hubs after work

Wednesday – 8ish K run at lunch, 20 minute indoor cycle and 90-minute masters swim for 3000m.

Fibre1-002-150x150Thursday – Clinic night with the marathon group; ran 13.4K with 3K MRP (marathon race pace) followed immediately by 3K tempo. Great workout!

Friday – 5K lunch run,  35-minute indoor cycle after work then Friday night swim session for 2250m in 1:00:00; 16 x 25m all-out sprints nearly killed me!

Sunday – Chilly Half Marathon in 1:43:47 – report to follow
